Description
- alexandrite, gold, diamond
Centring on an oval cabochon cat's-eye alexandrite weighing 13.14 carats, surrounded by pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds extending to the shoulders together weighing approximately 3.40 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, the cat's-eye alexandrite is natural, displaying a distinct colour change combined with a well-centered and pronounced chatoyancy (cat's-eye effect). Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the cat's-eye alexandrite shows a brownish red upon incandescent day, and yellowish green in daylight. Diamonds in the surround are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Karat whtie gold mount, in very good condition.
