Description

  • Tourmaline approximately 46.36 x 43.85 x 17.77mm.
The translucent tourmaline of rich pink colour, carved with a monkey and peach, suspended from a cord strung with seed pearls and a pearl.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the tourmaline is of a medium pink colour, included to the naked eye on one side, very slightly included to naked eyes on the other side. The cultured pearl is round to naked eyes, excellent lustre, of white colour with rosé overtones. The seed pearls are of a creamy colour, mostly off-round, of fair lustre. Condition: Fine craftsmanship of late Qing period, in good condition.
