Condition
The canvas has been laid down onto the smooth side of canvasboard. The edge of the canvas is slightly uneven and can be seen along the top edge in the current framing. There is craquelure throughout and a disturbance in the picture surface in the top right corner. Under UV, the varnish flouresces green and the darks in the rabbis cloak and beard have been strengthened.
