  • Height: 2 3/8 inches
of slightly tapered rectangular shape, with a row of small holes along the thin flanges of the upper and lower edges, each side finely incised with a stylized bird with pronounced beak and crest, the tail extended in a spiral and decorated with a hooked feather motif, the remainder with geometric hook patterns, the calcified stone a creamy white color

Condition

One corner, about 3/4 by 1/2 inch, has been broken and restuck back on, with another associated crack approximately 1/2 inch long. There is some encrusted soil on the piece.
