of circular form with a large central hole, with smoothly polished inner and outer edges smoothing out slight dents and chips, the two sides beautifully finished and polished to a smooth surface, bringin out the different colours of the variegated  brownish-grey stone

The disc is in overall good condition. There are several old chips and frits along the rim that have been polished in the past (some of them visible in the catalogue illustration). The colour of the jade is of slightly paler tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
