- Length: 10 ½ inches
the stocky animal standing on its four short legs with head turned to one side, the body naturalistically cast with a pattern of recessed 'S'-shaped motifs, the shoulders of both hind and forelegs treated as spirals, the short tail curled over the near flank, the head with its mouth open, two long grooved horns and a diamond motif on the forehead, the underside open, the legs hollow and of 'C' section, the bronze patinated to a smooth pale green tone
Condition
The head maybe associated and was attached at a later date where the neck joins the shoulders. Other examples of this type have a square or rectangular opening in the middle of their back and this one does not have it.
