comprising: two small Neolithic jars; a gray pottery vessel (li ding), Shang dynasty; a spherical jar, Zhou dynasty; a large vessel with cross-hatched basket weave design, Warring States period; a gray pottery tomb figure, Six Dynasties period (6)
Condition
In the order of the catalogue illustration. The first vessel - there is a chip on the rim and some cracks around the feet two of which have been restored. The second vessel - there is some restoration to chips on the rim. The third vessel - the surface decoration is heavily rubbed. One loop handle is chipped away. The fourth vessel - there is a 1/4 in. rim chip. The fifth vessel - the rim is chipped and ground down. There are old chips to the handles. There is also some possible repair to the lower body. The figure's neck has been restored and also both legs have been restored and the figure has been reaffixed to the base. The arms are also restored.
