painted in vivid tones of underglaze-blue with a continuous scene of the Eight Daoist Immortals paying homage to Xi Wangmu, the Queen Mother of the West, along a riverscape in the mountains, beneath borders of ruyi-heads and fretwork at the rim and shoulder, the base with an apocryphal Xuande mark

Condition

There is a shallow rim chip approximately 1/4 in. on the inside of the rim. There is a vertical crack stained brown approximately 8 in. long on the body, running up from approx. two inches above the foot. There are two large burst airbubbles to the glaze just above the foot rim.
