Condition
The canvas, which is rather coarse, is unlined and slightly slack in its frame. The picture surface is in generally good condition and the colors appear fresh and the impasto. Under UV, the edges of the column at left flouresce, as do some areas along the bottom edge, though these appear to be due to the ground and canvas showing between the paint strokes.
