Condition
The first: The sheet has been laid down onto a piece of cardboard. The sheet is in generally good condition. There is a black diagonal line from top left to lower right which does not appear to be part of the original composition. There is overall discoloration, especially along the edges where covered by the matte. Framed in an acid matte behind glass.
The second: The sheet has been laid down onto a piece of cardboard. The sheet is in generally good condition. The gouache, especially the yellow, is heavily craqueleured and has accompanying losses. The red at the bottom left has been rubbed as well. There is overall discoloration, especially along the edges where covered by the matte. Framed in an acid matte behind glass.
