Condition
Painted on board and laid down and encased in panel. The board is sound. The surface bears a layer of varnish but appears clean. There is a minor hairline horizontal surface scratch across the figure's right ear, and there is some minor frame rubbing along the edges of the board. Under UV light: there are several pindots of inpainting in the figure's face with a slightly larger spots at centered on the figure's nose. There are a few small spots along the top edge probably due to prior frame abrasion, and there are vertical intermittent strokes running down the right edge. The lower right quadrant shows a few more pindots of inpainting, but otherwise the work is in good condition.
