Condition

The work is in very good condition overall. Its canvas has not been lined and its surface retains a richly textured impasto. Its colors are bright, vibrant, and fresh. There are slight buckles to the canvas at the upper right and upper left corners; these appear as minutely raised and isolated areas of the canvas. There is one minor vertical hairline of stable cracking in the thickest area of pigment about 2 inches to the left of the right edge of the canvas. A minor loss to the impasto appears in the green pigment at the extreme lower left edge. Under UV light: a number of pigments fluoresce but no inpainting is apparent.
