Condition
Canvas has not been lined. There is a line of prior frame abrasion visible just above the lower edge of the work, as well as at the top right edge, top right corner and at the top left. There are a few minor instances of pigment loss. Under UV light: a tiny pindot of possible retouching fluoresces on the left side of the figure's face. Certain pigments fluoresce but no other inpainting is apparent. Overall the work is in excellent condition.
