Condition
Canvas is not lined. Minor areas of frame abrasion are visible, as are a few flecks of gold frame paint, mostly at the right and bottom edges. Surface is slightly dirty, especially in the lower left quadrant, where pooling areas of varnish are visible. Thin cracks are visible in the thickest areas of white pigment in the sky, particularly near the center of the composition. These are stable and very minor. Under UV light: spots of pooling varnish fluoresce, but no inpainting is apparent. Overall the work is in very good condition.
