Condition

In generally good condition. On cream-colored laid paper. The sheet has been repaired, and a strip of the paper has been replaced, triangular in shape and about 1 x 8 inches in size, originating from the upper left corner. This replacement is outside of the image. Some inpainting along the edge of the original sheet and the joined replacement fluoresces under U.V light. A faint mat stain is visible along all four edges, approximately one inch in from edges. There are three small tears visible extending down from the upper edge above the central stand of trees which are backed with thin strips of japan sheet. A border of approximately ¼ inch of japan sheet backs the sides and lower edges. The watercolor is bright and fresh.
