Canvas is not lined. Canvas is slightly buckling at the extreme upper right, upper left and lower right corners. Under UV light numerous pin dot retouchings are visible in the red pigments near the four corners. There is also a 2 inch vertical line of inpainting on the upper right of the lower left quadrant. This inpainting addresses a repaired puncture and corresponds to a patch in the reverse. There is also a 4 inch vertical line of inpainting at the lower right of the upper right quadrant this also addresses a repaired tear. Apart of a few other small spots of retouching his work is in general good condition. According to Anne Varichon, while this is an authentic work by Albert Gleizes, the signature is likely apocryphal.
