Condition
This painting seems to have no restoration. Slight remnants of old varnish are visible under ultraviolet light and the paint layer is most likely clean.
The artist used a palette knife to apply much of the color in the background and there is a rather uneven quality to the background in many areas, yet this is not attributable to any damage. Running down the right side there is a light colored edge which seems to correspond to an actual color applied by the brush in many places, particularly in the upper portion of this side, but this also could be tones slightly to make it less distracting.
