Condition

In very good condition. The canvas is unlined and the work is presented in its original exhibition frame. The work is quite dirty with numerous minor accretions, fly specks and surface dirt throughout with a discolored varnish. There are three accretions (all one inch or smaller in diameter) on the left side (one lower left and two which are about 6 inches below the top edge, to the left of figures) which fluoresce but which are stained accretions; these should be removable with conservation. A faint inscription in ink is visible lower right and a small notation in pencil can been seen at center left. These appear to be unrelated to the work. Aside from these markings, the work appears to be in original state.
