Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is an opaque layer of varnish which prevents the UV light from fully penetrating and any conclusive examination under UV light. There is a 4.5cm long vertical repaired tear to the centre of the lower edge, patched on the reverse. There is some light frame abrasion to the extreme edges, mainly to the extreme right edge. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, but warmer and pinker in the original.
