Condition
Executed on paper, laid down on cradled-panel. There is a discoloured uneven layer of varnish throughout the composition. There are a few nail-head spots of retouching running intermittently along the upper left edge, and a further few spots of retouching along the other edges. These retouchings are visible under UV light. There are two vertical creases running parallel to the left and right edges and two minor paint losses in the lower left and right corners. Otherwise, this work is in good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration, although the colours are slightly brighter in the original, especially the yellows and oranges around the sun.
