Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, taped to the overmount along the upper left and right edges. The lower edge is deckled. There is an artist's pinhole to the centre of the upper edge and to the lower left corner. There is light paint flaking in areas, including in the brown and white areas in the upper half. There are a few specks of paint loss in areas, probably inherent to the drying process, and a few minor scratches mainly to the lower left edge. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although the reds and the blues are more vibrant and luminous in the original.
