Condition
Executed on cream wove paper and hinged to the backboard at upper corners on the reverse. The edges have been reinforced with brown paper tape on the reverse, which are very slightly visible on the front of the sheet. There is a tiny loss in the tree at the centre and two hairline creases at the upper right corner. There is some very pale, unobtrusive foxing mostly to the edges and some scattered pin-dot sized air bubbles, intrinsic to the pigment, some of which have burst. Overall, the work is in good condition and the pigments are bright and fresh.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
