Sale: Doyle, New York, 7th November 2007, lot 100
Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, attached to the mount at all four corners and at the centre of the lower edge. There are two areas of paper infil to the upper left corner. There is a 1.5cm repaired tear to the lower left corner and a small nick to the right of the upper edge. There are two light undulations to the centre of the left edge, with associated medium rubbing in the centre, possibly intrinsic to the artist's process. The extreme edges are slightly discoloured. Otherwise, apart from some light studio dirt, this work is overall in good condition.
Colours: The sheet is slightly warmer in the original.
