Condition
The pendant which appears to be original is now detached and is most likely missing a washer, the screw does not look original. In going order but will most likely require cleaning, the case wear to finish bears some splitting and cracks. The engraving is of high quality and overall quite a sweet clock, although the quarter strike work is not functioning. The knob in the top corner is loose. The push for the quarter striking is loose, but is intended to be this way. The handle is detached. The case with distress and abrasions to wood. The left fret is slightly sunken and will need to be realigned. the back door of the case seems to have sustained some repair and is not perfectly aligned. The push wind repeat is lacking a brass knob. The bottom dovetails nicely with the surrounding material. Overall a lovely piece.
