the raised central boss with the Cross of the Dominican Order, together with two other Hispano-Moresque lusterware pieces: a plate and a bowl, 17th century. (3 pieces)

Condition

The charger: scratches and surface abrasions throughout. Abraded under foot on reverse. Chipping throughout including a few larger chips near edge on reverse. Two repaired breaks across perpendicular diameters, with fill and restored pigment and luster. Restoration to central boss. The dish: pierced for suspension before firing. Rubbing and scratches to surface throughout. Minor chipping to the rim and loss to the surface at high point of central boss. Losses to foot. One divot on front, possibly a firing flaw, filled with wax. The bowl: chipping and small losses throughout. Some retouched glaze. One large divot to reverse near foot. Some small pits on both sides filled with wax.
