Condition

Paper is in very good state. the surface is clean and painting is presentable as is. the paint surface has been well preserved and there is lovely detail throughout. ultraviolet light reveals some retouches to the foliage at upper left and lower left; there are a few small retouches on waterfall at center, two of which appear to be over very small repaired tears. a few retouches scattered in sky. painting is presentable and can be hung as is with no need for any further work. In a plain gilt wood frame with small egg and dart pattern at inner rim.
