Comte de Chambord (according to a label on the reverse);
Prince René of Bourbon-Parma (according to a label on the reverse).

Condition

The canvas is unlined. Picture is in good condition. Craquelure is pronounced throughout but stable. Paint retention is very good, coloration is vibrant, especially in the foreground. UV light reveals a couple very small retouches, for instance one small area beside the stem at middle right. The picture is in overall good condition and may be hung as is. In a carved giltwood frame.
