We are grateful to Ursula Fischer Pace for confirming this painting to be a work by Gimingnani, based on images. She knows of two other paintings of this subject by the artist, one in the Rospigliosi collection, Pistoia of circa 1652, and another formerly with Carlo Sestieri, Rome (47.5 by 65.5 cm.), also from the 1650s.
