There is an old and very thin glue relining. under a dirty and uneven varnish. the detail in the figures and animals and most of architecture is well retained. some slight thinness is noticeable in the top of the column at far right and some rubbing at extreme edges from frame. under UV: varnish fluoresces unevenly making it difficult to read. there appears to be some retouching in foreground and some to areas of the architecture. painting would benefit from a light cleaning. In a plain black wood frame.
