Very good condition overall with a few minor chips to the edges and some repaints at several places consistent with age and handling. The gilding of the bronze figure may have been refreshed. (Paint refreshed especially to the rims of the base). Very decorative piece.

Cette fontaine du XIXe siècle reprend à l'identique la fontaine en émail peint illustrant Les Triomphes de Diane et de Junon au musée Louvre (MR 2407), réalisée dans la deuxième moitié du XVIème siècle par l'émailleur Pierre Courteys (actif entre 1544-1568, mort en 1581).
