engraved with birds and animals and with concentric Hebrew Biblical inscriptions, apparently unmarked.  Together with a large Persian Shiviti Plaque engraved with Psalm 67 surrounding a menorah. 2 pieces

Catalogue Note

The outer inscription translates as, "In honor of Tzvi Zevulun.  Even in your thoughts, do not curse the king, for a bird of the air will carry your voice, or some winged creature tell the matter" (Ecclesiastes 10:20).  This is followed by a date, presumably commemorative, of (5)396 [1636].
