The necklace composed of an oval enamel miniature depicting a bust of a woman wearing an oriental turban headdress, the other enamel miniature depicting a bust of a woman in a ribboned 'up do' late 19th century hairstyle, connected by five-strands composed of predominantly natural pearls and 7 cultured pearls measuring approximately 4.90 to 3.14 mm., length 14½ inches, separates into two bracelets, length 7¼ inches each.
Condition
In good overall condition. The ivory to cream-colored, near round to semi-baroque seed pearls have minor to moderate blemishing, primarily in the form of wrinkling. Presenting varying degrees of pink, green and blue overtones and generally good luster. The portraits are in generally good condition with small chips of displaced enamel trapped beneath the glazed panels. Minor scratching to glazed panels.
