The graduated necklace set with oval and cushion-shaped yellow sapphires weighing approximately 200.00 carats, length 17 inches, the pendant-earclips set with oval and cushion-shaped yellow sapphires weighing approximately 26.75 carats.

Condition

The necklace set with 28 yellow sapphires, and the earclips set with 6 yellow sapphires. The sapphires are not as brownish orange as pictured in the printed catalogue, but are pastel shades of yellow to slightly orangy yellow. Eye clean to slightly included. All pieces in good condition. The screw backs on the earrings are probably later-added and are not karat gold. The necklace was purchased by the consignor's grandmother in 1928. A photocopy of the invoice is available upon request
