painted on each side with Chinese figures at various pursuits within scrollwork cartouches, mounted on an ormolu base and affixed with two scroll handles.

Condition

Please note that the porcelain has not been examined beneath the mounts. There are some minor occasional patches scratches to the enamels or glaze around the exterior of the body and to the cover. The tureen has some minor wear to the gilding of the lower gilt band where the body meets the mounted base. There are minor chips to the artichoke finial of the cover and some wear to gilding at the rim edges.
