A FURSTENBURG PORCELAIN FIGURE OF PIERROT CIRCA 1775

modelled by Anton Carl Luplau after the model by Simon Feilner, modelled standing on a scroll-molded base, wearing a puce jacket and yellow pants, incised model number 271 and indistinct mark. Together with a Kloster Veilsdorf figure of Harlequin, circa 1765, modelled standing in front of a tree stump with his hands in his belt.

Condition

The Furstenberg figure- Left hand is restored; the restoration is old and is flaking. Kloster Veilsdorf figure- It has considerable restoration to both arms, ankles, knees and shoulders. The sword is chipped on its tip. The tree stump is broken into two and glued back.
