each painted around the ovoid body with a continuous view of a countryside depicting figures at various pursuits, the trumpet-shaped neck, shoulder and lower body decorated with neoclassical patarae or palmettes on the green ground between gilt borders, affixed on either side with a gilt winged herm handle.

Condition

Both vases are in generally good condition. There are some minor spots of wear to the gilding of the biscuit portions of the handles. One vase has an additional very minor spot of flaking to the gilding of the lower gilt foliate border and the other has a very minor pinhead chip to the top edge of the lower body/stem, where it meets the upper part of the body. The other with a miniscule chip to the green ground below the lower gilt band in the stem area.
