Hand-colored etching, engraving and aquatint, 1828, by R. Havell, on wove paper with the J. Whatman Turkey Mill 1828 watermark

Condition

The full sheet with numerous tears, paper losses and tack holes along the sheet edges. The colors attentuated, specifically in the greens of the foliage. Time stain and several areas of staining within the image, most noticable in the uncolored areas. Foxing throughout particularly in the blank areas of the image. There is a crease on the left margin running the entire length of the sheet 5/8 inch from the sheet edge.
