Condition

Overall in very good original condition. As seen in the catalogue illustration this chair remains in original condition with evidence of use. The leather seat with crazing throughout, rubbing and wear to the surface of the leather and slight looseness of the seat, as a result of the compression of the seat stuffing from use. There are some minor losses to black top surface of the leather along the piping which presently shows slightly brown in color. One area of the piping to the proper front left edge of the seat with a small portion (approximately ΒΌ inch) which is becoming detached. The chromium plated portions of the frame with rubbing, losses to the chroming and some discolorations as seen in the catalogue illustration. The chair retains the original wood wheels and the wheels move with ease. The chair also swivels with ease. The wooden backrest with some very light rubbing to the finish at the top of the armrests, but overall the wood has acquired a nice patina over time. A very good original condition example of the first edition of this chair model.
