Description

  • 125cm. high; 187cm. wide, 70cm. deep; 4ft. 1in., 6ft. 1½in., 2ft. 3½in.
the inside of two frieze drawers each stamped in ink Lepri Leopoldo Antiquario Via Benei 19 Firenze, the back with a painted inventory label 'Vier Jahreszeiten 48', with another partially legible paper on the back inscribed 'Berlin'

Condition

In very good original condition, some infilled sections to the top, chips, cracks, marks and stains throughout consistent with age and use. The top has a strip of replaced timber to the back. There are carved masks to the frieze, at the front and below the top either side of the drawers, two of these are later carved copies of that which is placed in the centre of this frieze. The top has a strip of replaced timber to the back, there are also some typical replaced section of moulded detailing which are later and have been stained and polished. Generally a piece with wonderful patina and great proportions.
