A rare Italian carved walnut cappelliera or hat stand, Lombard 16th century

with a leaf carved cornice above four later pegs

In generally good condition. There are two small replaced patches to the front, marks, chips, cracks and stains throughout consistent with age and use. Nice detail to carving.
