Description

  • pine, gilt bronze and glass
  • 93cm. high, 50.5cm. wide; 3ft. ½in., 1ft. 7¾in.
with an acanthus leaf and stylised sunflower cast cresting above a rectangular plate, the whole applied with pierced gilt-metal mounts and gilt-glass twisted ribbon borders

Condition

The decoration with numerous old splits and wear. The mirror plates of an aged appearance and with separations to each corner. There appears to be some old elements in this piece.
