with three drawers, restorations
Condition
Good general condition. Part of the top has been replaced - this strip of timber is at the back of the top and is a piece of pine. It is not a jarrying replacement and has been polished to match the walnut which makes up the majority of the top. There is evidence of old worm. There are some replaced sectionsof moulding, again well done. There is some slight bowing and lifting to some moulded elements. There are some chips to carved details and some edges, mostly old and generally minor. There are some typical seperations to some joins, as to be expected. The piece is solid. Drawer interiors are tidy and have been made good so that all drawers run smoothly. The feet have also been replaced. The colour and patination are both good.
