- 64cm. high, 59cm. wide, 9.5cm. deep; 2ft. 1¼in., 1ft. 11¼in., 3½in.
depicting swordsman within roundels amongst foliage and flowers
Condition
In overall good original condition a rare piece and can be placed inmmediately.
Colour slightly darker overall and much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Charming detail to the verre eglomisé panels. There is a crack in the glass border at 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock which are not too noticeable. There is an old paper with ink writing partially revealed where the mercury plate has degraded. Some old very minor worm to the ebony border which appears to be no longer active. Construction cracks at joints as visible from the catalogue photograph which can be left and are commensurate with age.
