Description

  • SATINWOOD MAHOGANY AND TULIPWOOD
  • one 84cm. high, 73cm. wide, 40cm. deep, the other 84cm. high, 81cm. wide, 42.5cm. deep; 2ft. 9in., 2ft. 4¾in., 1ft. 3¾in., 1ft. 4¾in.
in the manner of  Gillows of Lancaster, each with a real frieze drawer flanked by dummy drawers above a cupboard door, crossbanded throughout in tulipwood

Condition

Age cracks to tops and fronts. Some minor warping of veneers on the larger commode. The larger commode with later side return in-fill slips. Later handles. General old marks and scratches consistent with age. Good colour and patina
