finely woven with life size figures dressed in fur trimmed costume, within an architectural setting with landscape beyond arches in the background; lacking borders

Condition

With old linen lining. Old Velcro across the top. Recommended that new Velcro should be added across the top edge for hanging in the future. Some old repairs, for example to the sky and to costume and light area highlights. There are some areas of reweaving, for example to the top left corner and along the lower edge. With reference to the the blue and yellow ribpples (moray effect), visible in areas across the tapestry, is a result the printing process and these colours are not present in the actual tapestry. This panel is a versatile size with balanced colour and charming details.
