  • coffee pot 24cm., 9½in. high
comprising a coffee pot and cover, the chrysanthemum moulding reserved on a yellow ground, a jug decorated with exotic birds reserved on a green ground, a teapot and cover with a pink scale border and scattered mixed flower sprays below, and a tea canister and cover also with a pink scale border, painted with a couple of young peasants dancing in a landscape,

Condition

Coffee pot and cover: typical minor chipping to rims of flower knop on cover Jug: rubbing to gilding on handle and footrim Teapot and cover: a couple of minute chips to rims of petals on flower knop on cover.Knop has been repaired, there is some very fine scratching to the glaze visible in raking light, and a some wear to the gilding on the handle. Tea canister and cover: a couple of minute chips to rims of petals on flower knop on cover, the gilded inner rim of the canister has a very small shallow rim chip, and there are a couple of nicks to the sunken glazed rim.
