each with rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, the exterior incised with four flower head medallions alternating with stylised cloud wisps above a band of lotus lappets, encircled at the rim and foot with double line borders, the interior decorated with a flower head medallion within a double circle, covered overall in a rich yellow glaze, the base left white and inscribed with a six-character Qianlong seal mark

Condition

The pair of bowls is in generally good condition. One bowl has a circa 3cm hairline running vertically down one side and a circa 0.5 x 0.2cm chip to the rim. There is extensive surface scratchings and other minor glaze firing imperfections including iron spots and bust glaze bubbles etc. The other bowl has a circa 1.5cm hairline at the rim, extensive surface scratchings and other minor glaze firing imperfections including iron spots and burst glaze bubbles etc.
