the deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a flared lipped rim grooved with a single line on the exterior, covered with a rich egg-yolk yellow glaze darkening at to an amber tone at the foot, the base glazed white and bearing a six-character Guangxu mark

Condition

The bowl has a 2.3 x 0.3cm chip to the base of the footring, the yellow glaze has a subtle crackle and darkens at the base (possibly caused by misfiring). Apart from other glaze firing imperfections, the bowl is in good condition.
