of hexagonal form, finely enamelled around the sides with two depictions of a man and water buffalo leading a plough through a field, interspersed by two different scenes of groups of figures within open pavilions, with four poetic inscriptions, each with three seals in iron-red enamel

incised single-character inscription to interior reading 'lao', faint star hairline to base, and semi-circular hairline to interior base.
