the cylindrical body rising from a tall flaring foot and set to the side with a thumb ring, carved in low relief around the exterior with archaistic dragon strapwork on a ring-matted ground, the domed cover surmounted by a high relief curled chilong and cub, the stone of pale celadon tone with mottled caramel inclusions

Condition

The cup and cover is in excellent condition with the exception of minor nibbling along the rubbed edges and the jade is calcified.
